ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: EXTRA CREDIT AVAILABLE, I added two folders onto Odyssey that are FCAT Prep. One is titled Geometry FCAT Prep-Singleton, the other is titled Algebraic Thinking FCAT Prep-Singleton. In order to get 40 points extra credit you need to finish both folders with 70% mastery. No partial credit will be given. If you finish them before Spring Break, the extra credit will be on the 3rd 9 weeks, if you finish them after Spring Break, it will be on the 4th 9 weeks. In order to get the extra credit, they must be completed by April 10th. (This could also be counted for your 60 minutes of Odyssey per week)

Attention students: You may notice that folders are missing on your Odyssey. I unassigned some folders for you to focus on the FCAT prep folders. I will be adding 1 more folder that will contain concepts that we will be covering over the next 5 weeks. So, don't think anything went wrong, it is my doing.

Benchmarks are over for math and we will be back to normal on Monday. Anyone who did not finish the Chapter 5 test will finish it either Monday or Tuesday. We will begin a new unit in all classes next week as well. In team time we will be focusing on getting ready for the FCAT. Parents please access http://www.fldoe.org/ to look at resources for your child for FCAT. Also, the county library has FCAT Prep on the following dates.

Today we began taking the math benchmark. We will take session two on Thursday as well as begin chapter 5 test. Sorry for the change and thank you for your flexibility and understanding. The only homework all week will be Odyssey.

Periods 1A-3A- Your benchmark will begin tomorrow and we will finish it up on Friday. Remember your shopping projects are due tomorrow. No excuses. Please have your rubric attached to your project.

Just tried to pull up Odyssey and still no luck. Everyone just enjoy your extra day and don't worry about trying anymore. Hopefully we will find out something tomorrow at school. Again, thank you for all your emails and concerns.

Foldable for Periods 4B and 5B

The foldable should include functions, function tables, function rules, and how to graph functions. It should also include what is slope? - positive, negative, no slope, undefined slope. Also, how to find slope from a graph, from two points, and from the slope intercept form equation. Make it yours - it is for you to study and make notes on prior to the test.

ATTENTION: Thank you for all your emails concerning Odyssey. Again, I know of the issue, so please don't stress over it, your grade will not be effected. Try again tomorrow, and if it does not work, don't worry - enjoy your extra day off.

Attention students and parents: I am aware of the problems with Odyssey. Your grade will not be effected by this issue. Please don't give up though and keep trying to access Odyssey. I will keep trying as well and will post on my blog when Odyssey is accessible.

FYI - Apparently there is still issues with Odyssey. I am trying to access it and cannot. I have not heard anything from the county about this issue, so keep trying and I will take in consideration about this issue when it comes to grading. Again, keep trying.

Benchmark testing will occur during class Tuesday and Wednesday. Please still be prepared for your chapter tests next week. I will give more information on Tuesday and Wednesday.
