Complete Denver Shopping Project - complete thoroughly and answer questions in complete sentences. Show all of your work, however you can check your answers with a calculator.

Attention Periods 1A-3A -
Please complete the Fraction Review folder on Odyssey - it is due this Friday the 20th. Also, if you have been notified to make up assignments, those are due no later than this Wednesday the 18th. Also, your test corrections on Module D are due no later than Wednesday as well. Make sure you are following the procedure on how to recycle the test and make corrections.

Parents: I sent home progress reports today, please ask your child for theirs. Please review this with your child and if there are any specific instructions please adhere to the directions and
due dates.

How to recycle your test
1. Copy question
2. Explain why you got the problem incorrect. State why you guessed or why you did not understand how to solve the problem
3. Correct the problem by showing all of your work
4. Explain step by step how you solved the problem

In order for me to regrade the test, you must follow the above directions thoroughly. If you cannot figure out how to solve a problem, with the research you did, please ask me to help on Friday. I will be asking what resources you used to help you figure the problem out.

Today my A day students took a test on Module D, which encompassed ratios, rates, unit rates, comparing ratio and rates and solving ratio problems. The grades are up for 1st and 2nd period. We will be recycling the test on Wednesday.

Attention parents: Please check your child's planner and grade portal occaisionally to make sure they are keeping up with all of their assignments. My grades are upto date and the students will be receiving progress reports on Wednesday (please ask for them). During this time of year, historically children faulter and need a reminder of staying focussed. Thank you in advance for your support.

-Correct the pre-test for Module D -Test on Module D is Monday

To correct the pre-test, check to see all of the ones that you had gotten incorrect. Correct the problem by showing all of your work on a seperate piece of paper. It is not acceptable to just change the letter answer. Remember many of the problems are multi-step.

If you guessed on a problem that you did get correct, go back and redo those questions as well. Parents- students have written on their reflection their thoughts on each questions, so it should state why they were confident or unsure on every problem.

Finish Winter Packet - specific notes are in the portal not grades. Many students have shown all of their work. Please show all work and if any of you did not have it, or did not get parent signatures, I will be checking it again tomorrow as well as going over all the answers.
