Attention parents:  we are currently learning the relationship between fractions, decimals and percents.  That they are equivalent forms of each other, but just expressed differently.  Please when you see either form while you are shopping, reading a newspaper or watching TV, discuss what each of them mean and how else they can be expressed.  For example, when you are shopping and you see a sale for 25% off.  What does that mean?  You take 1/4 of the price off the original price.  

PERIODS 2A AND 6B -  pg 222 all problems
