Monday and Tuesday students are in the computer lab taking a diagnostic test on i-Ready.  The data received will help better individualize instruction.  Students, if finished, also went onto Reflex Math to practice their multiplication/division facts.  Being proficient in knowing their facts up to 12, will help them be a better math student overall.  
Students who have not finished the diagnostic will be instructed next class period on when to finish the diagnostic.

HOME LEARNING For A day and B day classes:  Please read everything below!!

All classes today received gizmos to complete on Explorelearning.com.  Students must complete the "Exploration Guide" along with the 5 assessment questions at the bottom of the gizmo.  Most students have an account and just have to enroll in my class, however below are directions on how to "Enroll" in a class with and without an account.

MJ1 Advanced - Modeling/solving 2 step equations - show all work


Enrolling in a class on www.exploreleaning.com if you have an account through science. 

1.  Log into www.explorelearning.com
2.  Click on "Enroll in a class" at the top right hand of the page
3.  Type in the code which is on your letter (or look below for your class code)
4.  Click on your class period.
5.  Now you are enrolled and you can view the gizmos you have to complete.

Enrolling in a class on www.explorelearning.com if you DO NOT have an account.

1.  Follow directions on the letter (Use the same username and password you log onto the computers at school so it is easy for you to remember)
2.  If you have misplaced the letter follow - log into www.explorelearning.com
3.  Click on "Enroll in a class" at the top right hand of the page
4.  Type in code which is on your letter (or look below for your class code)
5.  Click on "I do not have an account" - type in Name, username and password.  You do not need to put your email address.
6.  Click "submit"
7.  Your account is set up and you should see a tab with your class period on it.
8.  Click on tab and your gizmos will appear.

If your computer is having difficulties running the gizmo, scroll down and click on the System Test Page link.  This will check your computer to make sure it has the correct software to use.  If your computer does not have the correct software, have your parents help you.
