Recycled Tests:
Pre-Algebra- all recycled tests have been graded. If you do not see a change in your grade, it could be one of the following reasons.
1. Gave back to recycle due to not complete or missed problems
2. Did not follow directions of recycling a test
3. Did not show work on the recycled test
4. Chose not to turn in a recycled test.
MJ1 Advanced - all fraction and decimal recycled tests have been graded. If you do not see a change in you grade, it could be one of the following.
1. NOT showing WORK!!!! This was the reason for many.
2. Not following directions of recycling a test
3. Chose not to recycle
DIRECTIONS FOR RECYCLING A TEST: These directions were written in their notebook after the first test given. Should be located in the front of the notebook, if not copy and place in notebook.
1. Copy the question you missed.
2. State why you got the problem incorrect - be specific
3. Correct the problems by showing ALL work
4. State how to solve the problem step by step
Students have been shown prime examples of how to recycle. Recycling a test is extremely important because students learn from their mistakes and it makes the students to become problem solvers and independent thinkers. If a student still can not figure out the problem I am there to help. Please do not turn in an incomplete recycled test just because you don't understand something. Ask, and I will help you figure it out.
