Periods 7B - complete +/- Rational Numbers "How To" - directions are below.
Directions for Period 7B
1. Section off a piece of paper into 4 equal parts.
2. 1st section label "Adding Integers" - in this box explain how to add integers and give 4 examples proving the "How To" positive plus a positive, negative plus a negative, negative plus a positive and a positive plus a negative.
3. 2nd section label "Subtracting Integers" - same as first section but instead of addition symbol for examples, use the subtraction symbol.
4. 3rd section "Adding Rational Numbers" - in this box explain how to add fractions and decimals. Give 2 examples with fractions and 2 examples with decimals. positive plus a negative and a negative plus a negative.
5. 4th sections - "Subtracting Rational Numbers" same as 3rd sections, but instead of addition sign use the subtraction sign in examples.
